TALX Download Setup

Use this form to configure the Consortium file version in the Talx Tax Credit and Incentive Download form.

Note:  This process does not use Client Access Group security.

To access the form, click Back Office menu. Under Operations|Action, click TALX Download Setup. The system automatically displays the number of total pay codes and Talx pay codes.

To set up the TALX download file:

1. Complete the following fields:

Field

Description

Report Setup

Source ID This is assigned by TALX and appears in the Header Record.
Source Type This is assigned by TALX and appears in the Header Record.
Submission File Code

Select from the following options:

Initial - This is the default option. Select this options if this is the initial submission file.
Replacement - Use this option if this is a resubmission file of a previous file.
UCX Account Number This is assigned by TALX and appears in the 202EMPLPIM Record.
Report Using Hours Worked? Select this option if you would like to report using hours worked. By default this box is checked.
Use the company number for the location code? Select this option if you would like to use the company number for the Location/Division Code. By default this box is checked.

Reporting Entity

Select the reporting entity from the following options:

Client
Employer - This is the default option.

Required Record Types

Select one or more of the TALX required record types from the following options:

Employer Information

Employer ID

Enter the employer ID or click the Employer ID link and select them from the Select Employer dialog box.

TCI ID

Enter the TCI ID assigned by TALX.

Limit to Clients

Client ID

Leave this field blank to run for all clients. To run this for selected clients, enter the client IDs here or click the Client ID link and select them from the Select Clients dialog box.

Client Name

The Client auto-populates based on the selection above.

2. Click Save to save the record.
3. Click Cancel to cancel the changes made in the form.
4. Click Close to close the form at any time.
