Editing an HRPyramid OE/BE Administrator User

Organizations that use both HRPyramid (HRP) and Benefits Enrollment for benefit and open enrollments can employ the User form to set up an HRPyramid OE/BE Administrator.

Note:  Select HRP Legacy/PrismHR Tandem Install on the Global Configuration form to make this user type visible to clients.

This user can log in to PrismHR and can only access benefits management and open enrollment forms in Benefits Enrollment. Other PrismHR forms are not accessible to this user.

To set up basic information for HRP OE/BE Administrators:

1. Enter the User ID.
2. Select HRP OE/BE Administrator from the User Type drop-down menu.
3. Update the user's Name, Password, Email Address, or Mobile Phone if required.
4. Enter a Client Access Group. This determines the client companies that the user can access (See Defining Client Access Groups).
5. Enter an employee ID.
6. If appropriate, update the user's Title and Work Phone number.
7. You can include a photo of the user. Mouse over the image and click Upload to add an image, or Delete to remove an existing image.
8. Click Save.

HRP OE/BE Administrator Settings

Configure these fields to control HRP OE/BE Administrator login and multi-factor authentication settings.

Field Description

Active User

Deselect to remove system access for this user without deleting their user record.

Requires New Password

Select this option to prompt the user for a new password the next time they log in. This feature works even if passwords are set to never expire on the Authentication Services form.

Logging Enabled

Do not select this option unless absolutely necessary, as it adds overhead and slows down the system. This option enables back-end logging to assist with troubleshooting.

Last Changed On

This field displays the date and time of the most recent change to the user account.

sMFA Device Expiration

This field determines the amount of time until a user is prompted to verify their login using multi-factor authentication. You can use the global MFA setting for MFA expiration, select a different time interval, or disable it entirely. PrismHR highly recommends that you do not disable MFA expiration. See the previous warning.

Birth Date and ZIP Code The system uses these fields during password recovery to verify a user's identity.
